Therapy for adolescents, teenagers, and young adults

Rooted in trust and connection

Hi, I’m Alanna — an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist passionate about supporting adolescents, teens, and young adults as they navigate anxiety, identity, self-esteem, school, relationships, and life transitions.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked as an elementary educator and school counselor. That experience continues to shape how I show up in the therapy room, with patience, empathy, and deep respect for each person’s unique journey. I understand the pressure so many people carry, especially young people, and how powerful it can be to have a space where you can slow down, be yourself, and feel truly seen and understood.

I earned my Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. As a therapist, my style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in trust. I’ll meet you where you are, and together we’ll explore ways to grow and heal. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and psychodynamic and strengths-based perspectives to support meaningful, lasting change.

Outside of work, I love spending time with family, being outdoors, and reading. I’m continually inspired by the strength, creativity, and courage of the people I work with, and I’d be honored to support you on your path.

My Approach

I believe therapy begins with feeling seen, heard, and valued for who you are. My approach is warm and collaborative, rooted in trust and connection, because at its core, therapy is about meaningful human relationship.

Together, we’ll create goals that reflect your values and build a path that feels authentic to you. I draw from psychodynamic and strengths-based perspectives, and integrate tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness practices.

Sessions are intentional and personalized to help you reconnect with your strengths, values, and sense of self. We’ll work together to develop strategies you can use in daily life — whether that means building habits, practicing new ways of thinking, or learning coping tools that support growth beyond our sessions.

Therapy with me is a space to be real, get curious, and feel empowered to create lasting change.
